SQAPE has signed a license agreement with Struyk Verwo Infra. After a previous license with V.d.Bosch Beton, Struyk Verwo Infra also has the confidence to work with the geopolymer technology.

The are available under the name Cero cement-free concrete. This cuts the MKI (environmental cost indicator) in half compared to cement bound products. A big step forward in sustainability.

A condition for Struyk Verwo Infra is that concrete waste can be reused as concrete granulate in new concrete at the end of its service life. Before starting with geopolymer technology, it was examined by SGS Intron. These confirmed that geopolymer has the same properties as traditional concrete in this area as well. Granules of geopolymer can be used in the second life both in the production of geopolymer and in traditional concrete.

The production site in Tiel has a modern plant for the production of geopolymer concrete. Various stone formats and standard tiles (with thicknesses of 6 cm or higher) are available in CERO cement-free concrete. These CERO products always consist of under-concrete and a covering layer. The under-concrete is produced on the basis of geopolymer concrete. The covering layer remains aesthetically unadapted.
