Research by TU Delft into the service life of geopolymer produced using SQAPE technology shows that these products have excellent resistance and are suitable for use in civil engineering structures.
TU Delft has carried out research into the lifespan of three SQAPE mixtures with different binder compositions. These alkali-activated mixtures were tested for resistance to sulphate attack, chloride penetration and carbonation.
The results show that SQAPE provides excellent performance comparable or even better than references with Portland cement and other alkali-activated systems.
